ei•View Workstation is a remote system engineered to fit into your work environment, whether it's a hospital office or an offsite setting. Designed with simplicity in mind, ei•View Workstation is easy to use when reviewing and editing. It eliminates navigating through menus and submenus—simply point and click onscreen.
Receives Data from any DICOM sending unit — ei•View Workstation is designed to receive DICOM images from any modality—including CT, fluro, ultrasound and PACS*. This includes streaming video comprising audio and static images.
Editing — Edit at your convenience and in your environment. Edited data may be sent to PACS or burned to a DVD or USB drive, while the complete unedited study is saved to your eiView Workstation.
Post-Editing — Add audio, additional notes and snapshots to any closed study. You can send the study to PACS with or without attached audio, which can be saved to your ei•View Workstation.
Reporting — View and listen to each study in your office while completing your patient record. You can also retrieve hospital forms on a dual-screen eiView Workstation via your hospital network.
Review — Review all runs with audio and guide shot sequences at various speeds—including frame-by-frame from your ei•View Workstation, DVD, PACS* or USB drive. You also have the ability to magnify and add post-editing comments.
Send to PACS — If your PACS does not accept audio or large amounts of streaming video, your eiView Workstation can send data the PACS accepts by creating sub runs. Easily create an unlimited number of sub runs from long runs. Complete runs are automatically stored with audio and video in your ei•View Workstation.
Archiving — ei•View Workstation automatically accepts all edited and unedited patient studies—including audio annotation—from the radiology suite. Each terabyte of mirrored storage means you can safely save hundreds of cases on your eiView Workstation.
Querying and Retrieving (*not yet FDA-approved as of January 2011) — Query and retrieve any patient data from your PACS to review or add notes. ei•View Workstation can actively search for data by any field, including patient name, date, DOB, patient ID, study ID or doctor. Your hospital PACS can also query and retrieve any patient data from ei•View Workstation.
