Digital Processor Interface Bi-Plane (DPI-BP)

The Digital Processor Interface Bi-Plane (DPI-BP) is an analog image capture device that converts analog video data to DICOM. The DPI-BP captures study image data from the frontal, lateral or both planes of a BiPlane X-ray system. Digital data runs are sent to a DICOM device as a Bi-Plane formatted DICOM study. Image data can be sent to a DICOM server for archival or to a DICOM workstation for viewing and diagnosis or written to a CD/DVD. The DPI-BP can be used in both cardiology and radiology applications. Case data conforms to the DICOM 3.0XA standard.
