Artemis

Image Guidance and Navigation for Prostate Biopsy

Providing numerous advantages in enhanced imaging, Artemis empowers you with the visual acuity to help you see the prostate in any dimension. Artemis greatly increases your ability to examine the prostate gland for abnormalities or suspicious regions which may need sampling.

Artemis converts your 2D ultrasound to 3D and provides enhanced biopsy planning features, needle navigation and data recording for future reference. Performing this conversion is but one of the benefits of Artemis. Additionally, Artemis provides the capability to load conventional site plans and/or your own customized biopsy plans.

During biopsy, Artemis displays the 3D orientation and navigation of the needle trajectory, core position, depth and deflection. With reproducible accuracy, Artemis allows you to view previous prostate gland volumes and biopsy locations. All of this information is recorded and saved for future reference, treatment planning and monitoring.
