Dr. Mahtab Damda brings extensive executive management experience and medical expertise to Eigen, where he is responsible for setting the organization's overall direction and strategic vision. As a physician, Damda is extremely passionate about the company's cutting edge imaging technologies and its recognized improvements in healthcare. He is excited about leading Eigen as the company continues to shape the landscape of prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Prior to joining Eigen, Damda served as a senior executive with the Kazi Group, where he established key strategic partnerships and collaborations.
He received his MD in Internal Medicine from the University of Mysore, India.
Having over 10 years of business and product lifecycle management experience, Dr. Amit Vohra oversees Eigen's business development activities, in addition to heading both the manufacturing and service departments. Equipped with an entrepreneurial approach, creative business acumen, and a strong technical background, he has been able to implement multi-dimensional marketing and business development strategies at Eigen. These have yielded partnerships and collaborations with industry, academic institutions, and media.
Vohra also holds an executive role at a pharma, biotech, and medical device consulting company, where he is instrumental in devising global market penetration strategies for that company's clients. He has five filed patents and patent applications as well as widely-cited, peer-reviewed publications.
Vohra received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida.
Armed with 17 years of engineering experience, for the past ten years Dr. Dinesh Kumar has been involved in all aspects of product development—including algorithms, hardware and software prototyping, and commercialization. His achievements include the development and commercialization of Eigen's state-of-the-art product, Artemis, in addition to other innovative products. Credited with over 20 publications and ten filed patents, Kumar is an important contributor to Eigen's IP portfolio. His current role involves product development, working with research collaborators, investigating new technologies, and building partnerships.
Kumar received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa.
William Mandel has over 25 years of software, firmware, and regulatory affairs experience in the medical device industry. He has brought 12 devices from conception to production, demonstrating a deep understanding of the product development cycle.
Prior to joining Eigen, Mandel designed quality management systems for three other companies, all of which withstood FDA scrutiny. Armed with an electrical engineering degree from UCLA, his background includes medical instrumentation. Mandel holds four medical device patents and has created three online medical device development classes.
Syed Zaidi is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and general accounting. He has over ten years experience in auditing, accounting and finance.
Prior to Eigen, he was the Divisional Controller at Kazi Management VI, LLC.
Zaidi holds a Masters degree in accounting and finance from the University of New Haven, Connecticut, and a BS degree in accounting and finance from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom.
Dr. Ram Narayanan has been actively involved in scientific collaborations and charting new courses in research and development at Eigen. He has six filed patents in addition to numerous publications—notably in prostate imaging pertaining to statistical atlas-guided biopsy, repeat biopsy, and MRI/ultrasound fusion-guided biopsy.
Narayanan manages a dynamic team of brilliant imaging scientists and software engineers who enjoy unprecedented synergy. Collectively they revel in finding innovative ways to implement new features as well as transform existing products to set the new standard of care in prostate imaging.
Narayanan received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
